Today, pornography is an integral part of young people's lives. Research shows that, despite existing legal regulations, young people can easily access illegal pornographic content and that almost half of all adolescents interviewed regularly consume it (Altstötter 2006; eNASCO, 2015). In addition, the proportion of unwanted contacts with pornography is increasing (Grimm 2010:15). For example, if children type in the harmless word "disgusting" on Google, pornographic content is shown.
Larger European-wide studies and meta-analyses end up that confrontation with Internet pornography is one of the most important online risks in Europe (Hasebrink et al. 2009). So there is no doubt that the manifold possibilities of and easy access to pornographic content entail risks and make adolescents insecure in their sexual socialization. Europe has therefore already responded by providing protection filters and classification tools for user-generated content, as the "You rate it" project shows. Since filters (1) can be circumvented more and more easily, (2) are not effective everywhere and (3) alone are not sufficient (although necessary) to deal adequately with this problem area of Internet use, cooperation between non-state actors is of great importance here.
Due to the similar problematic situation throughout Europe, but at the same time different experiences and research efforts, we need transnational learning through professional exchange in order to be able to create professional attribute for action. The professional group of social work is therefore the target group of this project, because it deals with these current questions and problems in the fields of open youth work and prevention and can fill this gap professionally. At the same time, there is an enormous need for further education and training both with regard to current developments and legal regulations of pornography in Europe as well as with regard to the individual professional self-image of the youthworkers.
In a consortium of AT, BE, BG, RO, EL and DE, we are taking on this sustainable educational task with a dual strategy, involving politicians and local authorities and institutional, and on the other hand, above all, the actively-reflected debate. The declared aim is to combine the two and integrate them into the context of social work.

The project "Walls" deals on the one hand with a milestone in the history of the EU (Roman treaties) and on the other hand with the current debate and crisis of Europe about its future.
Through xenophobia, Europe's fundamental values are under discussion. New walls by prejudices, nationalistic tendencies and movements, by right-wing populist slogans or "Cold War", by intolerance and exclusion are to be dismantled by "walls". Dialogue must be entered into. The programme “Walls” wants to invite citizens to participate in activities and methods that are not commonplace to do so across generations.
Young Europeans are concerned with an important historical step towards the European Union - the Treaties of Rome - and gain an understanding of the history of Europe. The EU in response to two world wars. Young people of Europe are invited to bring their visions of a "borderless, liberal and humane Europe" on canvas. These visions of "boundless, respectful and humane togetherness in Europe" will be exhibited together with photos of Jürgen Ritter who photographed the GDR border fortifications and after German reunification the changes at the former dividing line, in all partner countries from 12.04. to 27.05.2018. These photos show "walls" against people; they show how borders separate, how "walls" divide - even the whole of Europe has divided them. During the exhibition period, debates will be held on the possibilities for free, democratic and decent coexistence in Europe.

60 years after the Treaty of Rome, we live in a tolerant and pluralistic society. This varies from one Member State to another. Populism, xenophobia, prejudice and sometimes open racism are unfortunately omnipresent. The global perspective also shows that the world is by no means tolerant. The free and democratic basic order is one of the values achieved in Europe. It is questioned and undermined by instigating fears, fundamentalism and populist movements.
Together with citizens from Kifisia (Greece), Lüneburg (Germany), Pleven (Bulgaria) and Timisoara (Romania), we will discuss the challenges of democracy in the current situation. Various events and international conferences will take place in this cooperation framework.
At the international conferences, citizens will be able to express their opinions, share their visions and hopes and develop their European identity in this way.
The project aims to promote democratic values (against populism and fundamentalism) and at the same time promote democracy education in Europe.
EDUCOMMART, with the support of the municipality of Kifisia, will inform and discuss the current challenges of democracy with citizens of Kifisia through actions.

50 years after the protest and civil rights movements in Europe (1968) and the anti-Semitic smear campaign in Poles thought many by the title of the Nobel Peace Prize for the EU (2012), that totalitarianism and nationalism, racism and anti-Semitism are history. Europe stands with new challenges. Citizens want in the shaping of their community and in the design of the of their country and Europe.
Nationalist parties on the one hand side dictatorial approaches and speak on the to other side citizens who don't seem to see any possibility, to make themselves heard with their criticism and opinion. And there are also many open questions in the structures of the EU: Parliament is not in itself an equal parliament and cannot make decisions in many areas - foreign, security or trade policy. Also with regard to democratic legitimacy of the Council. The voting rights are not based on population size weighted etc.
Such ambiguities and the "apparatus" of the EU, which is incomprehensible to citizens, have increased scepticism about the basic idea of the EU. In view of the forthcoming elections to the next European Parliament in 2019, VOTE wants to contribute to greater transparency, tolerance and understanding.
Citizens from Kifissia (Greece), Jena (Germany), Pleven (Bulgaria) and Mechelen (Belgium) will be involved in the debates, critical voices heard and opportunities for better citizen participation in the forthcoming European elections presented and discussed.
With its events, VOTE wants to ensure that the democratic citizen participation is discussed; that existing structures are questioned and the participation of citizens also at EU level. Decision processes within of the EU should be presented transparently and comprehensibly to be.
At international conferences, citizens will have the opportunity to express their opinions through street activities and public transport surveys, and they will motivate people to take their responsibilities seriously through citizen participation and participation in elections.
EDUCOMMART, with the support of the municipality of Kifissia, will inform and discuss with its citizens through actions to improve voter turnout, creating greater transparency and political understanding.

50 years after the revolution of '68 and 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Europe faces new challenges before the next elections to the European Parliament: Nationalism, racism, populism and new anti-Semitism.
"DIALOGUE" wants to lead an intercultural dialogue. With contemporary witnesses of the 68-revolution, the Wends '81 and '89, a historical dialogue will be conducted in which biographies of citizens who have experienced milestones in the history of Europe are created. In workshops, young citizens will go into DIALOGUE across generations and hear the story of how challenges have been overcome. This knowledge will encourage us to shape Europe's future.
Young European citizens will be invited to creatively bring their visions of Europe on canvas. These visions will be shown in national and international exhibitions with paintings of "Degenerate Art". As part of the exhibition, a panel discussion will take place on the ‘Day of EUROPA’, 19/05/19 on the occasion of the European elections between representatives of politics and citizens of all generations.
DIALOGUE aims to compile biographies of contemporary witnesses in all partner countries, to conduct a 'History Dialogue' based on personal experience and the search for ways to combat racism, anti-Semitism and populism for future generations. The art exhibition of works by young citizens on EUROPA will complement DIALOGUE.

Every year over 3.7 million children are born in Europe, growing into a densely populated media world. The demand for media literacy education, but also in particular for help with media education, is growing across borders. Today, children and young people are not only at home earlier and earlier in the digital media and find ever more complex online worlds and opportunities. Unlike in the real world, consumption is also largely beyond parental control.
Although this growing need for parent education exists, the form of support that parents need seems to be changing. Parents' evenings at schools are declining and online seminar rooms are in demand, as there is no need to travel here and additional childcare does not have to be financed or organised. The anonymity is given, which can be helpful particularly with sensitive topics. With digital media, learning can be made even more active and individual.
EDUCOMMART is also responsible for the production and direction of the educational films of this two-year Erasmus+ project.
The Erasmus+ project "You, Media and Me" ("YouMMe") responds to this demand. In a consortium of Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovenia and Germany and involving politicians, municipalities and parents themselves, a multilingual digital parent consultation is being developed in the form of a web-based APP.
This will provide instructional videos in 5 languages, dealing with one's own critically reflected handling of media and concrete, current topics of media education. On the website you will find working materials, a question memory as well as a monthly expert table. The partner countries will also organise multiplier events and a final symposium in Graz.

"Witnesses" wants to commemorate 50 years of the civil rights movement, 30 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall in Europe and 40 years of civic participation in European elections. This memory must be well prepared and made useful for future generations. This includes these "milestones" of Europe - these history(s) of the European Union will be given faces by WITNESSES. Faces and stories that emotionally tell of hopes, disappointments, of people and their life plans, of restrictions and dictatorships, of freedom and peace.
With "Witnesses", citizens are actively involved in shaping Europe. The aim is to bring citizens from all partner countries together so that they can become active citizens through their experiences - milestones in Europe. These will be very personal and emotional reports, peppered with personal photos and newspaper articles. These citizens come together and report on the 68 revolution, anti-Semitism, citizen participation for 40 years through European elections and over 30 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall, on the enlargement to the East, the Nobel Peace Prize and of course on past and current challenges.
At the international meeting and multiplier events, the project "Witnesses" will address the questions that are to be discussed today for the future of Europe. Young citizens in particular will gain the courage and commitment to take an active part in Europe as citizens.
The history of "exclusion and loss of citizenship" will also be remembered. The fact that citizens from Greece and Bulgaria are interviewed makes dictatorship and thus violence against people a topic of discussion.
The following project activities are planned in all partner countries:

Many people today move daily and naturally in digital social rooms. Children and young people in particular cultivate friendships via digital social networks or chats and obtain a large part of their information about the world from the Internet. Social, political and social processes in the real and virtual world interpenetrate and influence each other, whereby the values and norms of the real world are often not applied or not applicable to virtual social systems. Especially for socially and educationally disadvantaged young people, this digital world is a very special challenge. Dealing with one another and with conflicts is an expression of an ethical attitude. In addition, due to its low publication threshold and anonymity, the Internet is an ideal breeding ground for the unregulated spread of gossip and rumours, slander and lies, conspiracy theories and delusions. This makes people feel insecure, especially when young people lack the values they need to communicate at home.
The key competence "digital media ethics" cannot be found either in the curricula or in the training of specialists in child and youth welfare, even if there are isolated learning ideas. "ETHIC" meets this need. The experienced European consortium will create interactive learning opportunities to support its own critically reflected handling of media in the form of a game to internalise ethical guidelines as working material.
It emerges:

The main activity of the project "Tools and Skills for Emotional Management" is a training course , targeted to adult education staff. It will be carried out by Permacultura Cantabria, in Cantabria (Spain). It aims to bring, three adult trainers from each organisation (EDRASE, HYP, OIKOPOLIS, EPIONI, EDUCOMMART) interested in widening their EM perspective and different experts in the topic into contact.
We expect that participants will improve their capacity to identify feelings and emotions, and their ability to manage them, and help others to do so, when working with adult learners. That will lead to an easier communication, to a better psychosocial well-being, and will make them multipliers of that knowledge.

The family is the smallest system in European society, the starting point for democracy-building and social change, and therefore deserves special support. From
of our consulting and educational work, we know that families are always looking for help with similar issues, that almost everyone is "stuck" in the same places. We asked ourselves,
whether this is the case everywhere in the European Community, whether e.g. Greek and Austrian parents have the same problems. And as with our partners, the solutions to these problems are
I don't want to look like a problem. Which ways of good communication, handling money, (media) education, reconciling family and career have parents in other European countries?
What suggestions can we get from other organizations working with parents and children, how can they improve our work?
In order to find out, we would like to exchange ideas in a consortium of DE, AT, BG, ES and GR and thus further professionalize our work.
Counsellors, course leaders and other people who work with families often find themselves helpless in the face of certain problems that trigger conflicts, e.g. between parents. Often you feel alone in this situation until you talk to colleagues and notice that the triggers are similar in many families. We would like to extend this conversation between colleagues to the European framework and extend it to solutions that others may have found. The transnational meetings will deal with topics that appear again and again in our counseling practice, e.g. "media education", "compatibility of family and career". The partners will prepare for the meeting by reflecting within their institution on the issues, to what extent they appear in their daily counseling and training practice and how they are dealt with in their daily work. Furthermore, the partners will research the state of research in their country and, if necessary, question individual families or describe political developments. Thus, the first expected result is a further professionalization of the staff and thus of the participating organizations, which will transfer the findings into their networks.
In the next step, we will jointly collect approaches and methods to help families deal with the topic and disseminate them among parents and those working in child and youth work. To this end, each partner organization uses its preferred and proven dissemination channels (social media, events).
A formative evaluation, as well as the extensive experience of the partners, will ensure qualified cooperation and high-quality results. Thus, the families with whom the organizations work will benefit from the professional discourse, by sensitizing them to the family issues that need to be solved throughout Europe and to the European sense of community, and by developing ideas for solutions that will help them in their everyday lives. Families are often quite well networked and the results can also be passed on here.
Last but not least, we expect an exchange on the form in which the findings can be further processed in a follow-up project through intellectual achievements and made accessible to a broader mass.
Another result of this exchange should be a dissemination plan with which further stakeholders and politicians can be reached.

The project "Training for digital stress literacy in the form of a web-based app (TRIGS)" is a partnership of six European partners in adult education who contribute to the achievement of the Europe 2020 and ET 2020 goals:
The ability to be self-determined, vigilant and responsible towards one's own habits in dealing with digital media and to develop appropriate self-discipline is a declared goal. Even though discussions with friends and acquaintances about the change in digital use are increasingly being used to discuss and complain about digital stress and the increasing (social) constraints, there is only slow movement in the direction of research, politics and pedagogical practice. The University of Mainz and the Hans-Böckler Foundation now confirm this subjective impression in current studies which show that the daily use of digital content can be a source of stress in everyday life. The activity in social networks seems to create a feeling of obligation and social pressure to be reachable at all times and immediately. Another source of stress is the now common "Internet multitasking", according to the findings, in which activities are performed simultaneously offline and online.
A large-scale European study by the opinion research institute YouGov also shows that we are dealing here with problems that are important throughout Europe and that will continue to occupy us for a long time to come if they are ignored. According to this study, the subjectively perceived stress among 18-30 year olds in Europe is increasing. As direct or indirect consequences, they also state that they suffer from inner restlessness, depression and burnout. Since social pressure and the fear of missing something were the most common reasons why so many users are constantly online, this is exactly where we need to start.
The key is stress competence. It needs development and support. However, this is only possible once the individual has recognised how digitalisation affects him or her and how it influences his or her actions. This requires appropriate information and well-structured training. Neither combination can be found in Europe. The research situation, the view and the experience in Europe are different, therefore we need a transnational learning in the professional exchange, on the search for professional capacity to act. The professional ability to act is shown in the result of "TRIGS" in the form of a multilingual (6 languages), web-based app for the promotion of digital stress competence with the following contents and features:
The app will be tested with 100 adults of all age groups in 6 countries in schools, companies and multi-generation houses and will be used as an open educational resource. The development of the "TRIGS" app is an attractive answer to a global problem and strengthens the educational, political and personal responsibility of all generations in Europe in the self-determined use of digital media.
EDUCOMMART is responsible for the dissemination of this 2-year Erasmus+ project, with the participation of 5 other European partner organisations. Furthermore, the dissemination reports of all partners are requested at short intervals from EDUCOMMART, documented and evaluated at the end of the project.

Distance learning // homeschooling - a lot is demanded of parents during the Corona crisis. However, many are unable to provide their children with the support they need due to socio-economic disadvantage and a lack of digital skills.
When we work with young people, especially young, educationally disadvantaged and / or socio-economically disadvantaged families, we know that they often need help with similar issues.
The aim of our project is to show different solutions in a European comparison, which will be published in an online article, a guide and a number of methods and will be freely accessible to all interested parties. With this the main goal of an additional professionalization of our organizations has been achieved. Not only do the individual organizations benefit from European exchange, but families can also get the feeling that other people in Europe are similar to themselves.
EDUCOMMART is among other things responsible for the organisation of training events in Greece.

The family is the smallest system in European society, the starting point for democracy building and social change, and therefore deserves special support. We know from our previous project that families across Europe are in conflict about similar issues, that almost everyone is "stuck" in the same places. There we have exchanged ideas in a consortium of DE, AT, BG, ES and GR, collected the results and prepared them for publication.
In "Europarents 2020" we will be building on these results: we will first carry out a survey in order to be able to orientate our further steps exactly to the needs of parents. We will then work together to develop a game that facilitates and stimulates communication on difficult issues in families. Experience shows that many parents are already relieved when they realize that they are not alone with their problems. With the game to be developed, they can not only get a feeling for the fact that some topics affect families throughout Europe, but also come into direct contact with approaches from other countries and can reflect on them in a playful way.
Furthermore, the needs analysis, the further exchange and the joint development of the game will lead to an additional professionalisation of our organisations. One target group are also the employees of the organisations who, through their work and finally through the distribution of the game in the vicinity of the organisation, will carry the results into the target group of parents and families. In this way, not only the individual organisations benefit from the European exchange, but also the families can get a feeling that other people in Europe are similar to themselves, a feeling for the European community, and at the same time find new solutions for family conflicts.
In previous projects in which the individual organisations have worked together, everyone had the impression that "Europe works best on a small scale" - direct human contact, and, where this is not possible, the knowledge that families are similar throughout Europe, leads to mutual understanding and sympathy across national borders, which nowadays are threatening to become stronger again.

educommart is participating in a "network of cities" together with the municipality of Kifissia on the theme european unity. Under the leadership of educommart in Athens (Kifissia), there will be exchanges with the cities of Kifissia, Pleven, Timisoara and Lüneburg.
Europe and its values are a great asset: human dignity, freedom and solidarity. They have been achieved with courage and commitment – 30 years of reunification and democratic change in Eastern Europe.
The current challenges facing Europe as a result of populism, nationalism and racism will be tackled by the UNITY project together with citizens. Various innovative methods serve this purpose: With eyewitness workshops, citizens exchange information across generations about the time of the junta, dictatorships and over 30 years of European "UNITY". The values of UNITY in diversity, human dignity and solidarity are also expressed in the essays and poems of citizens, which are recited in public places in every city during balcony speeches.
The Prοject aims to bring together different generations and citizens of different classes and social backgrounds to discuss the current challenges facing Europe.
educommart – with the support of the Municipality of Kifissia - will carry out activities of national and international character to inform and involve citizens, to find solutions and to better address the challenges that threaten Europe.
